13 Years....and We Are Still in Love!

I cannot believe it has been 13 years since we said "I Do." At the time many people said we were too young, we would not make it, etc. etc. Although we have had our fair share of ups and downs, here we are 13 years later and more in love than ever before! When we were in marriage counseling, before the wedding, the pastor told us marriage was not 50/50.....the way he put it was that sometimes it was 90/10, sometimes it was 80/20, sometimes it was 50/50, but no matter what the ratio was at the time it was how you handled it that made all the difference. Another thing he told us was that your marriage is something you NEVER stop working on, when you do is when it will fail. This is SO true. When I look back at our 13 years, the times we had "problems" were times we took each other for granted or stopped working. Thank goodness we both realized it and started "working" right away!
In 13 years, God has blessed us in many ways! We have adjusted our lives from college students, to starting our careers, to parents of 1, to parents of 2, to living the busy life of parents of 2, to now surprisingly going to be the parents of 3! We have been through the exciting time of the many "firsts" in our marriage, first house, first child, first car etc., so now we are very much looking forward to what God has in store for us next!
I am so blessed to have such a hard worker, loving, caring, understanding man to call my husband! I am thankful to God each and every day for bringing me to him. Although, when I left home and headed to Oklahoma I never thought it was for good. But I would not change it for the world!
Happy Anniversary Honey!! Looking forward to growing VERY old with you!!
I love you very much!

The End of Baseball.....this year!

Our baseball/softball seasons have come to an end for this year. Although, it is a very busy time and this year it really wore me out, we have a great time watching the kids play ball and really enjoy the teams they play on. Here are a few pics from Braden's last game and a game Kaylee was asked to play for another team.

Kaylee plays machine pitch for an 8 and under softball team, but was asked to play a kid pitch game for a 12 and under team last week. We all were very honored to have her asked, but I think her Daddy was the most proud! She did an AWESOME job! This was the first time for her to hit off of a real pitcher and she struck out once, walked once, got hit with the ball once, and got a HUGE hit! She even stole a few bases! She started the first game in center field, but from the 2nd inning on she played her normal short-stop position and did a great job!
Here she is playing center field. I forgot to take any pics after that.....oops!
This is Braden's last game with the Enid Twins. About 1/2 of the boys have to move up to kid pitch next year, but Braden is in the group that does not.
These are my 2 besties, Rachael and Amber. Their sons play on Braden's team this year too, but Kyle, Amber's son, has to move up next year....:( Oh and I am 29 weeks preg here. I managed to wear my mom shirt the whole season!! Not sure how much longer it would have lasted though!
Their last pep talk by Coach Matt.
The last huddle.....
